Job summary

3HC Home Health & Hospice Care Inc. seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide prescribed treatments focused on improving or restoring a patient’s ability to function independently.

The role requires graduation from an approved PTA program, NC licensure, CPR certification, and preferred one year of clinical experience. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, travel to multiple offices as needed, and contribute to compliant documentation and care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum.
• One-year of clinical experience preferred.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant currently licensed to practice physical therapy in North Carolina.
• Maintain current CPR certification (BCLS).

Responsibilities

• Abides by 3HC's Compliance Program and Code of Ethics.
• Creates positive experiences for internal and external customers.
• Assists Licensed Physical Therapist in treating patients to relieve pain or restore function.
• Documents visits and reports patient response to therapy.
• Maintains accurate clinical and administrative records promptly.
• Communicates with supervisor and collaborates to meet productivity standards.
• Travels to other offices as needed.
• Keeps up-to-date on reimbursement criteria and documentation requirements.
