Job summary

SCI is seeking a self-motivated Pre-Planning Service Advisor to promote pre-need arrangements and services for families. You will generate referrals, follow up with families, and build community relationships to support growth and service excellence.

In this role, you will lead with prospecting, establish strong relationships, and work with the funeral home team to ensure seamless service. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of college are typical prerequisites, with CRM experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to generate referrals and new business.
• Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
• Strong client-focused communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation and relationship-building with families and community.
• Prospect and follow up to obtain referrals and pre-need arrangements.
• Present company services and planning guides to families.
• Collaborate with funeral home and cemetery staff to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain activity tracking and meet quarterly targets.
