Job summary

SCI is seeking a Pre-Planning Advisor Restricted (PPAR) to drive pre-need and funeral arrangements with a strong focus on referrals. You will engage families, present planning guides, and build community relationships while maintaining a professional, compassionate approach.

The role emphasizes prospecting, follow-up, and achieving a sales quota within a supportive team environment. Evening and weekend availability is often required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of college or equivalent experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
• In states where required, Funeral Directors License to perform this role.
• Sales experience or 1–2 years industry experience.
• CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate referrals and lead sources through community networking and events.
• Prospect families face-to-face, including evenings and weekends.
• Build and maintain relationships with families for ongoing service needs.
• Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with funeral home staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
