Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of college or equivalent education and experience.
• 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Current state driver’s license with acceptable driving record; insurance license if required by state.
• Ability to work evenings and/or weekends and drive frequently.
• Empathy, strong communication, and proficiency with computers.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation: prospecting a minimum of 1–2 hours daily.
• Obtains referrals from families served by the location.
• Networks and builds community and civic relationships.
• Explains and presents presentations to families served and referred families.
• Maintains and tracks activity levels to ensure productivity.
• Develops an understanding of each family’s needs and offers value.
• Stays in touch with families to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborates with funeral directors and staff to provide seamless service.
