Job summary

SCI is seeking a Sales Professional to serve client families by arranging at-need cemetery services and selling pre-need plans in Galloway, OH. You will lead generation activities, build trust-based relationships with families, and work with funeral directors to provide seamless, high-quality service.

The role requires evening/weekend availability, frequent driving, and the ability to obtain insurance licensing if required by state law.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-2 years of college or equivalent experience preferred.
1-2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred.
Valid state-issued driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
Insurance license if required by state may be needed.
Must pass company presentation certification within 30 days of hire.
Evenings and/or weekends availability required.
Ability to drive frequently and work up to 12 hours in a day.

Responsibilities

Prospect for new leads by dedicating 1-2 hours daily to lead generation.
Obtain referrals from families served by the location.
Network with community and civic organizations to generate opportunities.
Present information to families served and referred families.
Build and maintain relationships to ensure satisfaction and future referrals.
Prepare for appointments and conduct all procedures with professionalism and accuracy.
Collaborate with funeral directors and location managers to provide seamless service.
Follow up on customer problems and requests to maintain trust.
