Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to perform initial and ongoing assessments, treating patients across outpatient and inpatient settings. You will develop treatment plans and provide skilled interventions while documenting progress in the EMR.

Responsibilities include direct therapy, patient/family instruction, and coordination with care teams. A focus on safety, productivity, and continuous education will be expected, with opportunities for professional growth within Mercy

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• BLS certification preferred; required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops an appropriate treatment plan with goals.
• Provides direct therapy and instruction following the plan of care.
• Maintains accurate records in the EMR and tracks progress.
• Maintains productivity while delivering quality care.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and policy requirements.
• Supervises physical therapy assistants where applicable.
