Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent or higher.
• Experience: Three months phlebotomy training.
• Alternative: prior phlebotomy experience or formal training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient and specimen identity and label correctly.
• Input information into hospital and lab systems accurately.
• Process specimens and perform POC testing if assigned.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Communicate with patients, document requests, and coordinate collections.
• Perform clerical duties and reporting per regulations.
