Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Equivalent relevant experience of 4 years in lieu of High School or GED.
• Completion of certification program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipuncture and skin puncture per SOP.
• Identifies patients using two identifiers at collection.
• Labels aliquots using two identifiers.
• Transcribes orders from outside providers.
• Responds to code teams as needed.
• Adheres to universal precautions and lab policies.
