Qualifications

• Ability to perform phlebotomy on patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy professionally and with patient care.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and proper specimen handling.
• Verify requisitions and patient demographics for accuracy.
• Ensure Medicare processes like ABN and MSP are completed when required.
• Collect specimens accurately to fulfill lab orders.
• Keep draw station stocked and report issues to supervisor.
• Communicate test ordering and specimen information clearly to clients.
• Adhere to infection control standards and PPE usage.
• If located in a physician office, perform specimen collection for UWL labs.
• Complete additional courier tasks and supply delivery as needed.
