Responsibilities

• Venipuncture and capillary punctures on adults and children
• Process specimens and route to appropriate lab
• Perform waived testing and quality control
• Maintain daily documentation of refrigerator/room temperature
• Act as preceptor for new staff as needed
• Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling
