You will work under the Phlebotomy Supervisor in a safe, efficient, patient-focused environment. Responsibilities include performing phlebotomy with compassion, maintaining sterile procedures, completing requisitions accurately, communicating with patients and staff, and supporting compliance and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certificate and license if applicable.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy on patients of all ages.
• Organization, problem solving and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy professionally and with compassion for the patient.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and proper specimen handling per policy.
• Complete requisitions with accurate patient demographics and information.
• Review Medicare-related forms when required and ensure compliance.
• Accurately collect specimens and communicate test orders to clients.
• Keep the draw station stocked and inform supervisor of performance issues.
• Assist with courier duties and deliveries as needed.
