Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy professionally and compassionately.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and proper disposal of specimens.
• Ensure requisitions include patient demographics, diagnosis, and physician information.
• Review Medicare-related policies to determine if ABN is required.
• Complete MSP forms when necessary.
• Collect specimens accurately to fulfill lab orders.
• Provide accurate test ordering guidance to clients and staff.
• Keep the draw station stocked and orderly.
• Report performance issues to Operations Supervisor daily.
• Adhere to restrictions on off-site physician office work.
