Job summary

Labcorp in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across patient ages and ensure accurate data entry and timely processing of specimens.

The role requires a High school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and strong customer service skills. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, with occasional travel to additional sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
