Job summary

Labcorp in Wake Forest, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join a patient-centered team. You will perform specimen collection, ensure accurate data entry, and maintain logs while delivering excellent service to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or 6+ months’ experience.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
