Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Warsaw, IN. The role supports patient testing through venipuncture and specimen handling, with data entry and billing duties as part of the daily workflow.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy training or certification, with preferred 1 year of experience. Work schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:00pm with rotating Saturdays, at Labcorp locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
