Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Westfield, IN. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm with rotating Saturdays.

You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for various tests, and handle patient data entry and billing tasks as part of a collaborative laboratory environment. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or training; one year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
