Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PET/CT technologist to perform diagnostic imaging across freestanding centers, mobile units, and hospital settings. You will explain procedures, ensure patient safety, and produce high-quality PET/CT images while adhering to radiation safety guidelines.

The role requires NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification, CPR, and the ability to work at multiple locations. A high school diploma is required, with an associate degree preferred and ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required.
• State license as required; CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and radiation safety compliance.
• Produce high quality PET/CT images and studies.
• Explain procedures and communicate with patients and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and troubleshoot equipment.
• Coordinate across multiple locations and environments.
