Job summary

Akumin Operating Corp. is seeking experienced PET/CT technologists to perform high-quality imaging across multiple environments, including freestanding centers, mobile units, and hospital settings.

You will interpret physician orders, ensure patient safety, and maintain imaging equipment while delivering compassionate patient care and accurate results. Relevant NMTCB/ARRT(N) certification and state licensing are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine NMTCB or ARRT (N) required.
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification required.
• 1–2 years’ Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
• Ability to work at several locations.
• Local travel may be required.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic PET/CT images.
• Explain procedures and communicate with patients and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or PC's.
• Troubleshoot scanner, coach and peripheral equipment.
