Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to provide high-quality imaging across outpatient and mobile settings. You will interpret physician orders, select imaging parameters, and assist patients with comfort and safety.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and certification in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT(N)) with CPR. Local travel may be required; multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required; CPR certification required.
• State licensure as applicable; ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient safety including pre-screening and aseptic technique.
• Produces high-quality diagnostic PET/CT images.
• Trains new technologists and/or PCs.
• Troubleshoots the scanner, coach and peripheral equipment.
• Effectively communicates with customers and radiologists.
