Job summary

Akumin Operating Corp. is seeking a PET/CT technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging across multiple settings, including outpatient centers and mobile units. You will ensure patient comfort, safety and satisfaction while accurately interpreting orders and selecting imaging parameters.

Requirements include NMTCB or ARRT(N), CPR, and state licensure; 1–2 years’ Nuclear Medicine experience preferred. Travel between locations may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine by NMTCB or ARRT(N) required.
• State license as required; CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• 1-2 years’ Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-screen for contraindications and ensure radiation safety compliance.
• Produce high quality diagnostic PET/CT images.
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists and staff.
• Train new technologists and/or PCs.
• Troubleshoot scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment.
