Job summary

Gateway Services Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative/Route Service Representative for the West Coast Pet Memorial in Reno, NV. This role involves daily route management, face-to-face clinic interactions, and handling pets with dignity and care.

Candidates should be personable, reliable, and able to lift up to 100 lbs. Training will be provided for pet aftercare processes and CRM systems usage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service, account management, or route-based experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Review daily routes, load required equipment, and verify items before departure.
• Visit clinics, maintain professional relationships, follow clinic procedures.
• Retrieve deceased pets respectfully, handling them with care.
• Use company tech to scan pets at pickup/delivery; double-check names, IDs, and instructions.
• Document requests and complete all follow-through.
• Interact with pet parents with compassion and professionalism.
• Return to Care Center to unload pets, scan, and handoff to Operations.
• Maintain responsibility for each pet until received and documented.
• Serve as primary clinic contact, addressing questions promptly.
