Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide compassionate care to residents according to their care plans. You will help maintain a safe, supportive environment and report findings to your supervisor as needed.

Your duties include monitoring resident care, documenting information, attending trainings, and assisting with onboarding new staff, all while adhering to IPAC policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring care to ensure adherence to care plans.
• Assist in documenting information pertaining to resident care.
• Attend in-service education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assist in onboarding new staff.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
