Job summary

We Care For You Corporation is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides to help seniors and individuals with disabilities stay safe and independent in their own homes. You will provide person-centered support, assist with daily activities, personal care, meals, and companionship.

The role values reliability, empathy, and teamwork, offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement, and includes training and professional development to grow within the home health field.

Qualifications

• Prior PCA or caregiver experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to complete required training and orientation.
• Ability to follow care plans, health and safety guidelines, and company policies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide mobility assistance and prescribed exercises.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to the client's needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean living environment.
• Provide medication reminders and assistance with medications as permitted by the client's care plan and applicable requirements.
• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist clients with approved errands and community activities.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments when appropriate.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition, needs, or behavior.
• Follow the client's care plan and all company policies and procedures.
• Promote client dignity, independence, privacy, and choice.
