Job summary

AgeCare Brant is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) for a permanent part-time position located in Burlington, ON. The role supports residents per care plans, maintains a safe environment, and collaborates with the care team.

You will document care activities, participate in training, and support new staff onboarding while adhering to IPAC policies to ensure high-quality, compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meets vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meets standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
• Knowledge of simple treatments and bedside care; understands sanitation and resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor care to ensure it aligns with the care plan and report findings.
• Document resident information as directed.
• Attend in-service sessions, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assist in onboarding new staff as directed.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
