Job summary

Salus Homecare is seeking Personal Care Assistants/Caregivers to fill multiple shifts across South Bay (Torrance, Long Beach, and surrounding areas). Responsibilities include companionship, timely home visits, assisting with personal care, meal prep, and mobility support.

The role requires a valid Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) or assistance with obtaining it, TB test within 90 days, and a legal right to work in the USA.

Qualifications

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) required in CA
• TB Test within 90 days of start
• Must be eligible to work in the USA
• Physical capability to perform all job functions
• Safe driving record with valid auto insurance if driving clients

Responsibilities

• Serving as a companion to clients
• Arriving to clients' homes on time
• Assist with personal care activities: bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing, ambulation
• Transport clients to appointments and errands
• Turn and reposition patients in beds, wheelchairs and seats
• Maintain confidentiality of client information per HIPAA standards
• Notify office of abnormal findings or conditions
• Represent the company with a positive image
