Job summary

Salus Homecare in Santa Monica, CA is seeking Personal Attendants to provide compassionate in-home care. Roles include assisting with personal care, mobility, meals, and transport to appointments, while maintaining client dignity and privacy.

Offers benefits and flexible hours; part-time 4-6 hour shifts and full-time 8-12 hour shifts with pay ranges $20.00–$23.00 and $19.00–$20.00 respectively. Must meet CA HCA certification and TB testing requirements.

Qualifications

• CA State requires HCA certification and Livescan fingerprints.
• TB test within 90 days of start.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the USA.
• Physically capable of performing all job functions.
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if driving.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a companion to clients.
• Arrives to clients home on a timely manner.
• Assist clients with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparations and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
• Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
• Turning, repositioning and move patients between beds, wheelchairs and seats
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of the client
• Maintains confidential of all clients information accordingHIPPA standards
• Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions
• Represents the company with a positive image at all times

Education

Homecare Aide Certification (HCA)

TB Test within 90 days

Legal work authorization in USA
