Job summary

Salus Homecare in Los Angeles, CA is seeking Personal Care Assistants to join multiple shifts including mornings, afternoons, weekends and overnights to support clients in the Valley and surrounding neighborhoods.

As a Personal Attendant you will provide companionship, help with bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, transportation, and maintain client dignity and safety while following HIPAA guidelines. Training and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must have Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) and registered as Personal Attendant; Livescan FBI background check support provided by Salus.
• TB test required within 90 days of start; able to obtain/maintain certification.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA; good driving record if driving clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients.
• Be punctual and reliable for client visits.
• Assist with personal care: bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing, ambulation.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Assist with turning, repositioning, and mobility.
• Demonstrate flexibility to meet client needs; maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
