Job summary

Rolling Ridge Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities and promote independence in a safe, nurturing environment.

The PCA will assist with ADLs, monitor health, provide companionship, and help residents participate in community activities, while adhering to safety and infection control procedures. A HS diploma or GED is preferred, with PCA/CNA training beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• PCA/CNA training preferred.
• 1+ year of personal care, senior living, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health to the nursing team.
• Assist with medication reminders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Foster companionship and engage residents in activities and events.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe living areas.
• Follow infection control and health safety protocols; respond to emergencies.
