Job summary

Magnolia Creek Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with ADLs and daily living activities. You will promote independence, provide compassionate care, and maintain a safe, nurturing environment within our community.

The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and attentive care, with benefits including insurance, PTO, and ongoing development. A high school diploma or GED and PCA/CNA training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a state-approved PCA, CNA, or caregiver training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal care or healthcare.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Provide meal support, hydration, and feeding assistance.
• Monitor residents' health and report changes to the nursing team.
• Support engagement through companionship and activities.
• Maintain safe, clean living areas and follow infection control.
