Job summary

The Landing at Laurel Lake is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility. You will assist with basic health checks and help with prescribed exercises, while maintaining dignity, safety, and respect in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED, First Aid and CPR certification, and at least six months of relevant experience or training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Six months of relevant experience and/or training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with mobility restrictions to get out of bed, bathe, dress, and groom.
• Deliver basic health services like recording pulse rate, temperature, and respiration rate.
• Ability to work with elders with patience and understanding.
• Assist residents with prescribed exercises.
• Work flexible hours including weekends/holidays as directed.
