ComForCare Home Care is seeking Personal Care Assistants to support seniors and adults in their homes in Woodbury, CT and nearby communities. No caregiving experience is required, as we provide training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

Whether you join full-time or part-time, you will deliver non-medical care with compassion, ensuring safety and independence for clients while giving families peace of mind.

Qualifications

• Experience is not necessary; all you need is a willingness to learn.
• We welcome Personal Care Assistant, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Reliable transportation for client visits.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional—excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Background check may be required per Connecticut state regulations and federal law.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be reliable with a strong commitment to punctuality and professionalism.
• Able to lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with physical transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Helping clients safely transfer and ambulate.
• Meal preparation and assistance with feeding.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Medication reminders.
• Companionship and conversation.
• Transportation to appointments and errands (when applicable).
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to the care team.

Education

HHA/CNA certification welcome
