Job summary

ComForCare Home Care is seeking Personal Care Assistants to support seniors in Pound Ridge, NY, and nearby communities. No caregiving experience is required; training and ongoing support are provided to help you succeed.

You will assist with daily activities, promote independence at home, and work with a dedicated care team. Flexible scheduling, part-time or full-time options, and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Experience is not necessary; all you need is a willingness to learn.
• We welcome Personal Care Assistant, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Reliable transportation for client visits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates may be required to complete a background check as a condition of employment, consistent with state regulations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be reliable with a strong commitment to punctuality and professionalism.
• Able to lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with physical transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Helping clients safely transfer and ambulate.
• Meal preparation and assistance with feeding.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Medication reminders.
• Companionship and conversation.
• Transportation to appointments and errands (when applicable).
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to the care team.
