Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal education required: High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of 100 hours Nurses Aide Training Program. Certified Nurses Aide by State of NY.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Previous Experience Required: One year experience in Medical Surgical / Pediatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures quality and safe delivery of resident care.
• Participates in the interdisciplinary team meetings and reports observations and makes appropriate recommendations.
• Actively participates in the implementation of direct resident care in accordance with the care plan.
• Completes daily resident assignments efficiently.
• Accountable for resident safety throughout their shift.
• Maintains a clean, well-organized work environment.
• Greet residents, orient to unit, and assist with vitals and basic measurements.

Education
