Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a part-time Patient Care Assistant at the Burnet Campus, Department A4C1. This role covers the 2-3 shift, with a schedule of 8 hours per week and a 0.2 FTE workload.

You will support patients with daily activities, assist with transport, and contribute to care coordination under supervision. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and CPR training, with a background in patient care or relevant training.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA/STNA or equivalent registry preferred.
• CPR certification required; training offered periodically by internal program.
• One year of patient care experience within last three years or completion of Patient Care Assistant training program.

Aufgaben

• Plan of Care: provide approved care to assigned patients under RN supervision; assist with activities of daily living and transport as needed.
• Communicate status changes and document in patient record; maintain timely, accurate charting.
• Maintain safe, clean environment; follow infection control policies and safety procedures.
• Provide administrative support: respond to alarms, answer phones, assemble charts, and stock supplies.
