Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center on the Burnet Campus is seeking a member for the Vascular Access Team. This full-time role (0.9 FTE) features a rotating shift and 36 hours per week. You will implement the Plan of Care, assist with daily living activities, and help transport patients while maintaining a safe, child-centered environment.

Excellent teamwork and communication are essential. Prior patient-care experience and CPR certification are required or expected for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one of the following credentials.
• If CNA/EMT, must be listed on Ohio STNA registry or Ohio CNA with reciprocity within 180 days.
• 1+ year of patient care experience within the last three years.
• Requires CPR training and maintenance of certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan of Care - provide approved care and assist with interventions under RN supervision.
• Supervise activities of daily living and assist in developmentally appropriate activities.
• Support patient transport and 1:1 observation as needed.
• Provide documentation and communicate changes in patient condition during shifts.
