Stormont Vail Health in Topeka, KS is seeking a Birthplace Patient Care Technician (PCT) for a part-time 12-hour day shift. You will support breastfeeding, infant care, deliveries, and OR readiness, while keeping charts and rooms prepared.

The role emphasizes safety, infection control, ADL assistance, vital sign measurement, and collaboration with the care team in a patient-centered approach.

Competenze

• Completion of first semester in an accredited nursing program or completion of a medical assistant or PCT program.
• Substitution of a PCT/CMA/CMA/RMA/CNA/EMT certification for the education requirement.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days of hire.

• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to promote health and wellness.
• Communicate pertinent patient data in a timely manner.
• Maintain infection prevention and hand hygiene standards.
• Assist with ADLs, measure weight and vital signs, and document changes.
