Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, Missouri, is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for its Birth Place unit. The role features a 7p-7a night shift with opportunities for advancement and personal/professional growth within CMH’s community-focused care setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma (preferred).
• Experience: We prefer someone with labor and delivery experience.
• Licensure/Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR (we assist with obtaining this) within 6 months of employment

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient assessment by collecting patient data and recording and reporting findings as appropriate.
• Responding promptly to patient/ staff requests for assistance.
• Assuring patient comfort measures are met by performing frequent rounds on patients and anticipating patient needs.
• Giving and receiving patient reports in an accurate and timely manner
