Job summary

Stormont Vail Health in Topeka, KS, is seeking a Part-time Birthplace Patient Care Technician for day shift. You will assist with breastfeeding, infant bathing, setting up deliveries, and sterile technique in the Birthplace, including chart prep, room readiness, and stocking to support the care team.

The role requires education: first semester in a nursing program or completion of a medical assistant/PCT program, or an equivalent certification. BLS within 90 days of hire is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in an office or clinic setting.
• Completed nursing, CMA, or PCT program.
• Certifications may substitute education requirements.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to promote health and wellness.
• Communicate patient data to staff in a timely manner.
• Provide ADL assistance and measurements with vital signs.
• Ensure room readiness and stock supplies.
