Stormont Vail Health is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Technician for the Peds/PICU/Young Adult units in Topeka, KS. The role supports RNs and the care team across pediatric, neonatal, and adult patients, including ADLs, vital signs, and basic procedures.

The ideal candidate is in an accredited nursing program or has completed a relevant program, with BLS certification and strong communication skills. On-site daytime shifts with a patient-centered approach are offered.

Qualificações

• Successful completion of first semester in an accredited nursing program.
• Successful completion of a medical assistant or patient care technician program.
• A certified clinical medical assistant, CMA, MA, CNA, EMT or PCT certification may substitute for education requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to promote health and wellness.
• Communicate pertinent data to staff in a timely manner.
• Assist with activities of daily living and with procedures as directed.
