Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in the Tri County Area is seeking a PRN/Part Time Personal Care Aide (PCA) to deliver compassionate, in-home support for seniors. You will assist with bathing, dressing, meals, transportation, and companionship to help clients live safely at home.

This role offers competitive pay, weekly pay, and a flexible schedule with 1:1 client ratios. A high school diploma and six months of healthcare experience are preferred, plus a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate and helpful; good communicator; ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to help them live safely at home.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition, notifying a supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
