Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a PRN / Part Time Personal Care Aide who will support seniors in their homes around the Tri County area. You’ll help with bathing, dressing, meals and companionship, delivering care with compassion and a focus on safety and dignity.

Base pay starts at $18.00 per hour with weekly pay, 1:1 client ratios and flexible scheduling. This role is ideal for caring individuals seeking meaningful, locally focused work with a respected home care provider.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Six months of experience in a healthcare role preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helpful nature, good communicator; ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors at home.
• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, light housekeeping, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document conditions and notify supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
