Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a PRN / Part Time Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support seniors at home in the Tri County Area. In this role you’ll assist with activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, meals, and companionship, helping clients stay independent and safe.

A compassionate nature and reliable transportation are essential. Base pay starts at $18.00 per hour with weekly pay, 1:1 client ratios, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid drivers license, auto insurance and transportation required.
• Compassionate, good communicator, and able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support for seniors to live safely at home.
• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, light housekeeping and companionship.
• Assist with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition, notifying supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Engage clients in activities that bring joy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
