Job summary

A First Name Basis is hiring part-time Caregiver/PCA to support seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes across the service area. You will provide essential in-home care, including personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping, while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to travel to client homes. The role offers flexible scheduling, with daily pay options and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active caregiving mindset with compassion and professionalism.
• Willingness to pass background checks and screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal prep; assist with feeding as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and accompany to appointments.
• Report changes in client health; maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Travel to patient homes within service area; complete trainings.
