Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Current BLS Certification is required.
• In-house training program on patient lift and mobility within 6 months.
• One year of transport or related healthcare experience preferred.
• Certifications may be required depending on hospital needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transport of patients, beds, oxygen, supplies, and equipment throughout the facility.
• Assist clinical personnel in transferring patients to and/or from beds or chairs to and/or from wheelchair or stretcher.
• Respond to STAR codes by transporting patient lift equipment and assisting nursing staff, as needed.
• Provide assistance to units by cleaning equipment and stocking supplies.
• Partner with a service‑oriented attitude, professional integrity, and solid decision‑making capacities.
• Effectively prioritize and apply organization and flexibility to duties.
