Job summary

Qualifications

• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Required: BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Rounds the hospital to assess transport inventory and moves equipment to optimize operations and maximize patient throughput.
• Transports select patients upon discharge and assists them into their vehicle as needed.
• Moves patient care equipment and delivers items throughout the hospital, including specimens and pharmacy supplies.
• Notifies receiving departments and conducts thorough handoffs, ensuring patient dignity, comfort and safety.
