Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients, secures IVs and drainage devices, and ensures patient safety during transport.
• Uses wheelchairs and other approved equipment to move patients as needed.
• Demonstrates competency in transporting patients across all age groups.
• Ensures timely and accurate transport of patients to destinations using appropriate equipment.
• Communicates effectively with nursing staff, clinicians, technicians, and dispatch.
