Responsibilities

• Properly and safely transports patients, secures IVs, drainage tubes, etc., and secures patient.
• Uses wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock to carry out duties.
• Transports patients to destinations with proper equipment.
• Communicates with nursing staff, clinicians, technicians or reception/dispatch.
• Ensures patient comfort and privacy while transporting.
