Responsibilities

• Transports patients, secures IVs and devices, and secures patient.
• Uses wheelchairs and rolling stock to carry out duties.
• Demonstrates competency transporting all age groups.
• Delivers safe, timely transport with proper equipment.
• Communicates with nursing staff, clinicians, and dispatch.
• Ensures patient comfort, provides blankets, respects privacy.
• Alerts staff to distress or equipment issues.
• Maintains equipment and reports repairs as needed.
• Follows HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
