TouchPoint Support Services, part of Compass Healthcare, is hiring Patient Transporters for Ascension Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village, IL. We offer full-time and part-time roles with rotating weekends and holidays. Pay range is $15.00 to $16.85 per hour.

Previous related experience is preferred but not required. Online applications accepted only. As a Patient Transporter, you will safely move patients and equipment, communicate with clinical staff, and help maintain comfort and privacy.

Responsabilidades

• Properly and safely transports patients, secures IVs, drainage tubes, etc., and secures patient.
• Uses wheelchairs and other equipment to transport patients as needed.
• Communicates effectively with nursing staff and dispatch.
• Maintains patient comfort and privacy during transport.
• Alerts staff to distress or equipment issues.
• Maintains and reports equipment needing repairs.
