Job summary

Compass Group USA, through TouchPoint Support Services, is hiring Patient Transporters to safely and promptly move patients, equipment, and related items within Ascension Columbia St Mary’s in Milwaukee, WI. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Role focuses on compassionate patient care, adherence to HIPAA and safety protocols, and clear communication with nursing staff and dispatch.

Qualifications

• Previous related experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to transport patients and equipment safely and respectfully.
• Strong communication with nursing staff and dispatchers.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients, equipment and related items safely and timely.
• Use wheelchairs and rolling stock as needed to move patients.
• Monitor patient comfort and privacy; assist with patient needs as appropriate.
• Communicate with nursing staff, clinicians and dispatch for efficient transport.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and report any needed repairs.
